Document Import Wizard
Don't waste time adding documents to your document management system.

Most organizations already have a folders of documents scattered about their network.  And, one of the primary reasons they're putting a document management system in place is to consolidate and organize these documents.  Getting these documents into the new document management system has been a painfully tedious process -- Until now.

Our new document import wizard (shown below) now ships with our document management system, bf.documents, and our collaborative suite, bf.collaboraiton.

Populate your system in minutes, not days.
Take a few hundred documents from one network folder, 50 documents from another, and a hundred or so from yet another.  Who knows how large these files are -- you would be lucky to import them at one per minute with the "old" way.  Our new import wizard allows you to point to a directory on your network, point to a folder in your instance of bf.documents, and then import those files directly through your network -- A task that takes no more effort than uploading a single document, yet imports hundreds of documents in a matter of seconds!
Other Benefits and Features
Point to a saved configuration (database, DSN, username, password, etc.), or simply specify one. Specify the "owner" of the newly imported folders/documents.
Test configurations.  Before saving the configuration, or attempting to import with the configuration, the import wizard can test all network and database connections. Progress updates and progress bar let you know what file is being imported, and where you are in the import process.
Choose to import only the files in the current folder, the files and subfolders, or just the folder structure.
